Homework will include a review of two scholarly journal articles, the 2014 NATA Position Paper on Preparticipation Physical Examinations and Disqualifying Conditions, and the 2013 AMSSM Position Paper on Concussion in Sport. The information presented is current, and the topics are relevant to sports medicine. Reviewing this literature outside of class and over an extended time period provides students with a different way to learn and be assessed.

i>clicker Quizzes and Homework are collectively worth 20% of the final grade. There are two homework Literature Review assignments for this course. Each is worth 100 points. There will be no more than an additional 200 points that come from i>clicker Quizzes.
The total points earned on each Homework assignment will be posted to CitLearn.
